6 basketball players from Connecticut to play in women’s NCAA March Madness tournament

Connecticut is being represented by six players in the NCAA women’s basketball tournament.

Texas will have the most players on the hard court during this year's tournament with 47 players, followed by California with 46.

There are no players from Wyoming, West Virginia or New Mexico competing this year.

Stamford, Westbrook, Bridgeport, Bloomfield, Windsor and Farmington are the hometowns for the players from Connecticut.
